Your First Visit With Us

First, we would like to welcome you to our dental family.

We focus on making people feel comfortable while offering the best possible dental care, using the most advanced technology available. Drs. Ted and Kristy offer a full range of services, from general dentistry to advanced services such as sedation dentistry and implant dentistry.

Your dental health is our main concern so we like to walk our patients through every step of their dental journey.

The first appointment is called a new patient exam. It is a way for us to get to know you and your dental needs. At the new patient exam we take any and all necessary x-rays, chart all of your previous dental work, check for dental carries, do an extensive periodontal exam with charting to check for unhealthy gum tissue, and perform an oral cancer exam to check for any abnormalities.

After we gather all of our information we sit down with our patients and have a consultation. Sometimes we can have a short consult right away, after the new patient exam if there are only a few issues to go over, other times we may need you to come back for a complimentary consult with the doctor to discuss more extensive treatment plans. We have a trained patient advocate on staff that can answer your dental insurance and financial questions during your consultation.

Drs. Ted and Kristy along with their skilled staff will also be able to tell you how long your treatment appointments are going to take. We feel that by informing our patients of their dental needs, time, and cost, there is less confusion and surprises.

What To Expect

Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that the doctor has all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you. It also will help relieve any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling. Educate yourself on your symptoms by reviewing the content on this Web site. Also, take some time to review our staff page and familiarize yourself with the doctors. We look forward to your first visit.
